The DHIS2 Contribution Award acknowledges individuals whose dedication, innovation, and leadership have significantly advanced the development and implementation of DHIS2. Monica emerged as the winner from an exceptional group of nominees whose work continues to make a difference across the DHIS2 ecosystem.
The finalists included Mayamiko Mendamenda from the Centre for Infectious Disease Research in Zambia, Andualem Bekele and Adan Nur from WHO Ethiopia and Somalia, PATH and BAO Systems, Jules Maurice Mulisa from HISP Rwanda, and Gift Nnhko from HISP Tanzania.
