Albert Mutesasira

Albert Mutesasira is a Software Engineer and Full-Stack Developer with over six years of experience designing and developing digital solutions that address real-world challenges. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering from Makerere University and works with HISP Uganda, where he contributes to the development, implementation, and customization of DHIS2-based solutions. /nHis expertise spans full-stack software development, digital health, education management information systems, data analytics and visualization, system integration, and software architecture. He has extensive experience working with technologies such as React, TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js, APIs, and databases to build scalable, user-centered, and data-driven applications.

At HISP Uganda, Albert has contributed to digital transformation initiatives across the health and education sectors, including DHIS2 implementations, EMIS and SEMIS platforms, data quality solutions, analytics dashboards, and custom applications. His work involves collaborating with government ministries, development partners, HISP teams, and other stakeholders to design and deliver digital solutions that strengthen information systems and support evidence-based decision-making.

Albert is passionate about using technology to create practical and impactful solutions. He is particularly interested in transforming complex requirements into intuitive digital products that improve access to information, enhance data use, and create sustainable value for organizations and communities.
