We are honored to announce that HISP Uganda has been recognized with the prestigious East African Digital Health Innovation Award for our outstanding contributions to digital health transformation in the region. This recognition comes from the East African Health Summit 2025, acknowledging our decade-long commitment to building sustainable information systems for action.

The East African Digital Health Innovation Award recognizes organizations that have made significant contributions to advancing digital health solutions across East Africa. HISP Uganda was selected from over 50 nominations across the region for our innovative approaches to health information system implementation and our impact on healthcare delivery.

DHIS2 Implementation Excellence

Our work in implementing and supporting DHIS2 systems across multiple countries in East Africa has been particularly highlighted. Over the past 10 years, we have:

Award Ceremony

The award was presented during the East African Health Summit 2025 held in Nairobi, Kenya, from January 3-5, 2025. Dr. Fulgentius Baryarama, our Executive Director, received the award on behalf of the entire HISP Uganda team.
